The College of Education for Human Sciences holds a scientific symposium on the occasion of (International Arabic Language Day).

The College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra - Department of Arabic Language held a scientific symposium on (International Arabic Language Day) on Sunday 12/18/2022 AD in the Science City Hall, sponsored by the Dean of the College (Professor Dr. Hamid Siraj Jaber), And under the supervision of the Head of the Arabic Language Department (Professor Salem Yaqoub Youssef).
    The symposium included lectures and poems presented by him. (A number of the department's professors and some of its students) who emphasized the importance of the Arabic language and the necessity of introducing it to all humanity, especially on its international day.
    The symposium aimed to encourage everyone to learn the Arabic language, to master it, to shed light on it among other languages, and to motivate institutions that care about the language to find out what needs to be presented in the Arabic language.
