The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized a course on the Arabic language.
The aim of the course is to familiarise the participants with language topics to strengthen their skills and develop them in reading and writing; to get rid of spelling and grammar mistakes in research, university theses, and administrative letters.
The course presented by Dr. Walaa Mahmoud Shaker included several topics. In the end, the recommendation was to continue to establish such courses and to different segments of society in various state departments and private sector to strengthen their workers' capacity to develop their language skills, beyond spelling and grammar.
