A master's thesis in the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah discussed (Abdul Rahman Al-Baydani and his political, economic and social role in Yemen 1962-2012) by the student (Athar Jabbar Obaid).
The thesis dealt with the study of one of the political figures who left their fingerprints in the contemporary history of Yemen in all its political, economic and social fields.
The thesis included four chapters. The first chapter dealt with Abd al-Rahman al-Baydani, his birth and early political interests 1926-1961, the second chapter dealt with his role in the political developments in the Arab Republic of Yemen (1962-1967), the third chapter focused on Al-Baydani's position on the political events in North Yemen 1967-1990, and the fourth and final chapter was devoted to casting light on his activities in the cultural, economic, social and religious fields.
