The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on the theory of multiple intelligences and emerging modern teaching strategies.
The lecture, which is part of the faculty development course in teaching methods, aims to enlighten the trainees with the theory of multiple intelligences, distinguish the types of intelligence and its various activities, and introduce them to the most important strategies that emerged from each type of intelligence.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Amal Abdel-Razzaq Naim Al-Mansoori, included defining the theory of multiple intelligences, its origins and founder, and explaining the types of multiple intelligences, including: linguistic (verbal) intelligence: strategies and activities, logical (mathematical) intelligence: strategies and activities, spatial-visual intelligence: strategies and activities, kinetic (body) intelligence: Strategies and activities, Musical (rhythmic) intelligence: Strategies and activities, Social (personal) intelligence: Strategies and activities, and self-intelligence.
