Master's thesis at the University of Basra discusses (the feed industry and its geographical distribution in Basra Governorate)
The master's thesis in the College of Education for Human Sciences by student Zainab Ali Khalifa discussed the thesis. The thesis dealt with the reality of the fodder industry in Basra Governorate and its stages of development, revealing its production capacity as the most prominent production facility, and revealing its functional performance according to the natural, human and economic components that contributed to its development in Basra Governorate. The thesis included an introduction and four chapters. The first chapter dealt with the concept of the feed industry and its historical development, and the second chapter dealt with the geographical factors affecting the settlement of the feed industry, while the third chapter dealt with the feed industry, its geographical distribution and statistical analysis in Basra Governorate, while the fourth chapter dealt with the problem of the feed industry and the proposed solutions for it in the Basra Governorate.
The thesis concluded that the feed industry, whose establishments numbered (82), has a significant positive impact on the economic and social aspects in the study area, as it contributes to providing job opportunities and eliminating unemployment, in addition to the actual need for this industry as well, in addition to its uses and economic importance as it constitutes the main food for animals. And use it in agriculture as a fertilizer for the soil and increase its fertility.
