During a meeting with the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq, Dr. Muntaser Oqla Al-Zooubi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed developing the cooperation between the universities of the two countries.
Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed on the importance of joint cooperation in terms of academic programs, exchange of experiences and scholarships after the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched the “Study in Iraq” initiative to admit foreign students in Iraqi universities.
His Excellency called on developing an integrated environment that would benefit from educational experiences that contribute to the development of university institutions and raise them to the highest level of quality and academic accreditation according to international indicators and standards.
For his part, Dr. Al-Zooubi expressed the Jordanian side's readiness to enhance the environment of cooperation in the Higher Education sector to work diligently to formulate understandings and to participate in workshops and conferences organized by the universities of the two countries.
