A master's thesis in the College of Education for Human Sciences, Department of History, University of Basra, discussed (the Ahwazis, the companions of the imams, peace be upon them, and their role in preserving the Muhammadan heritage) by the student Amira Kamel Khalil.
The thesis dealt with the study of the Ahwazi narrators and how the Muhammadan heritage reached the Islamic community in general and the Ahwazi community in particular under conditions imposed by the ruling authority on the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their followers.
The thesis included four chapters: the first chapter, methods of taking the novel and scientific evaluation, the second chapter, their role in spreading social and political values, the third chapter, the scientific works, and the fourth chapter, the Ahwazi novel as a resource in the scientific works.
The study emphasized several results that came as a result of extracting topics that dealt with the community’s needs for the Muhammadan heritage that the narrators preserved in faith in the Holy Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant him peace) by studying the effective role of a number of Ahwazi media in contacting the source of origin for Islamic legislation, the Imams (peace be upon them).
