The study aimed at isolating and diagnosing Legionella bacteria from cancer patients and the hospital environment, and finding the appropriate therapeutic spectrum for them. and included . The study investigated pathogenic species and strains belonging to the genus Legionella by using biochemical and physiological diagnostic methods and applying the use of genetic diagnosis methods, followed by testing a group of antibiotics, in addition to recording new local isolates and recording them in the Gen Bank... and the study was recommended (Considering the presence of types and pathological strains belonging to the same bacteria referred to above, the current study proved the efficacy of the antibiotics that were used in the experiments, early diagnosis of the main causative agent in the occurrence of this vital disease in order to be able to prescribe the appropriate antibiotics, and the need to apply the continuous maintenance of water tanks and the removal of silt, sediment and remnants of corroded iron As well as the filters of air conditioners, as the main source of the pathogen)
