The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah organized a cultural festival entitled (By reading, minds transcend and conscious thought survives).
The festival aims to demonstrate the importance of reading in developing the cognitive aspects of the individual.
The festival included holding a competition to memorize the largest number of noble prophetic hadiths among students, and a competition for the best developmental description of the personality of the Messenger of God (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) by linking the elements of a successful and influential personality to the milestones of the life of the Messenger of God (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace).
