The College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organizes a cultural and entertaining trip.
The College of Education for Human Sciences / Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences organized a cultural and entertaining trip for the fourth stage students to the Basra Civilization Museum, which was previously called the National Museum.
The visit aimed to get acquainted with the culture and history of Iraq and its effects throughout the ages.
The visit included identifying the existing antiquities that were discovered and extracted from the archaeological sites in Iraq and according to the ages (Babylonian, Parthian, Sassanian, Sumerian, etc.).
It also examined the different artifacts from before Islam until the Islamic era, and how they evolved from pottery to ceramics, copper, and Islamic inscriptions and writings.
Another building containing types of fish and heritage animals was also seen, some of which still exist.
The students were accompanied on this visit by (Professor. Nidaa Muhammad Baqir Al-Yasiri), (Dr. Khawla Hammoud Al-Aboudi) and (M.M. Nora Hamed),
These trips come within the framework of the educational and scientific strategy, in which the theoretical side harmonizes with the practical side, and then the cognitive integration that the college seeks because it is primarily an educational college, and because it is a factory for minds and educators.
