The College of Education for Human Sciences is holding its first student conference on poetic and prose writings for gifted students.
As part of its strategic plan to sponsor gifted students, and within a series of conferences prepared for this purpose, the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra held its first student conference for gifted students in poetic and prose writings on Wednesday 1/2/2023 in Science City Hall, sponsored by the Dean of the College of Education for Science. The conference included the participation of talented students in all departments of the college to recite poems from the student poets who participated in the conference.
First- The first three in poetic writings, and they are:
1- Student Ahmed Muhammad Jassim / third stage / morning study / Department of Arabic Language.
2- Student Ali Hazem Latif / third stage / morning study / Department of Arabic Language.
3- Student Ahmed Abdel-Rahim Abdel-Karim / fourth stage / morning study / English Language Department.
Secondly - the first three in prose writings, and they are:
1- Student Masara Emad Abdel Sattar / fourth stage / morning study / English Department.
2- Student Zahraa Daoud Salim / first stage / morning study / Department of Arabic Language.
3-Student Sarah Ali Abdel-Hussein / third stage / morning study / English Language Department.
It is noteworthy that the number of students participating in poetic writings was (15) students, and the number of participants in prose writings was (21) students. These two main departments, in addition to nurturing and developing talent in all of this, and providing an environment and requirements for that development. While continuing to pursue talented people in this field and others.
It is noteworthy that the College of Education for Human Sciences, within its plan, has identified many talents in several fields, and has formed test committees as a first step, and then developed a plan for conferences that have been finalized, their committees, and the times of their convening. These are student conferences, of which the conferences of design, electronics, and handicrafts remain. , and so on, and the coming days will witness the date for holding subsequent conferences for gifted students.
