
The Avicenna E-Learning Center has been able to produce a new digital educational content according to SCORM standard which it enables accessing educational content from anywhere and at any time as well as the possibility of communication between operating platforms and various tools and to work together efficiently in the learning platform of Basrah University.
The director of the center, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, explained that the scientific staff at the university has completed downloading and uploading e- educational lectures on the Moodle platform according to SCORM standards, indicating that it is one of the standards adopted in the guide of quality standards for e- education approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This achievement comes within the strategic plans that the Center is working on to develop work in e-learning which it could enable university’s students to download their curricula electronically so that they could continue their education and receive lectures at home in an interactive manner.
