The study included three chapters: the first chapter was the historical development of asceticism and Sufism, the second chapter included the role of ascetics and mystics in the scientific movement, and the third chapter was about the social life of ascetics and mystics.
The study aimed to explore the scientific and social life of ascetics and mystics, and their interaction with society, as they are a mother, a wife, an educator, and a teacher, and how they combined two important aspects, which are the spiritual, worship, and social.
