The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (The Identification of Bacteria isolated from Intensive Care Unit in Basrah hospitals) by the graduate student Aymen Wasfi Dhahir The study aims to isolate bacteria from the intensive care unit, diagnose its phenotype and test drug sensitivity to it and included Isolating samples from the intensive care unit (environmental, patient samples) for several hospitals in Basra and conducting the necessary tests on them for diagnostic purposes and testing their sensitivity to antibiotics and the study recommended (use strict cleaning and hygienic practices to prevent distribution of multidrug resistant bacteria bacterial in ICU and hospitals environment).
