The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (Expression of fibronectin and MMP-1 in breast cancer patients in Basrah province) by the graduate student Zainab Abdul -Wahid Shayea.... The study aims .... The current study aimed to investigate the expression and clinical relevance of FN in breast cancer and explore its relationship with the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-1(MMP1). The current study included samples taken from patients have breast cancer and others have breast bengin tumor, by using ELISA technique could be measured levels of FN and MMP-1 in serum , while their expression in tissue measured by immunohistochemistry technique in the study. Elevated enzyme level in the prevention of breast cancer .And the study was recommended (Study the molecular and gene expression are needed for FN and MMPs associated with cancer overexpression., Study Fibronectin types (Pfn and cFN) and its role in cancer disease and additional studies of other types of MMPs and their association with FN in cancer. )
