Researcher Rana Ziyarah Hashim's thesis dealt with the study of exaggeration in Andalusian poetry, as exaggeration is one of the characteristics of poetry adopted by poets as a means to be distinguished from other poets.
The thesis concluded that the style of exaggeration has a presence in Arabic poetry and Andalusian poetry in particular.
