The College of Nursing at Basra University participated in the scientific symposium About climatic data and their impact on the environmental and urban system of Basra Governorate and the possibility of adapting them), which was set up by the College of Arts at the University of Basra, Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit in the College of Arts The College of Nursing had an active participation in a research paper by Assistant Lecturer Iman Taha Abdel-Hassan, member of the faculty of the College of Nursing, Community Health Branch, entitled (The Impact of Climate on Diseases Affecting the Population of Basra Governorate)The research included the effect of weather conditions on human health, where the climatic diseases caused by the climate were identified as elements and its phenomena.The research aimed to identify the climatic characteristics in the province of Basra, as well as diseases related to the climate, and to focus on the elements of the climate that affect the respiratory system.
