The University of Basrah launched the comprehensive virtual library, which links all college libraries with the central library of the university within one electronic platform.
The purpose of establishing the comprehensive virtual library system is to benefit the university’s teachers and students from all available resources and books by using their official university accounts within the electronic university management system UMS.
It is worth mentioning that the electronic university management system UMS was launched two years ago with the Student Affairs Management System (SIS), and other new systems have been added to the virtual library of this system, noting that all these systems were designed by the university’s software cadres and under the direct supervision of the university president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi.
