During a visit to the IAEA in the Austrian capital Vienna and a meeting with its Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Nuclear Science and Applications, Mrs. Najat Mukhtar, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Head of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, reviewed fields of joint cooperation between research centers in Iraq with specialists in the International Atomic Energy Agency in the fields of food security, climate change and cancer control.
Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted developing research projects in Iraq in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
His Excellency met the Chairman of the ARASIA Council, Mr. Bilal Nsouli and they demonstrated joint scientific cooperation that serves specialized research in the fields of health, agriculture, education and training.
