A master's thesis at the University of Basrah discusses the role of safety and marine insurance in the management of marine vessels

On Wednesday 29/3/2023 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master's thesis in Business Administration tagged (The role of safety and marine insurance in the management of marine vessels) - a comparative study between marine vessels.
The researcher's thesis (Ali Abdul Kadhim Ashour) aims to raise the level of marine safety and the application of marine insurance in the Iraqi marine vessels that do not have marine insurance by studying the correlation and influence between the variables of the study.

The thesis recommended a number of recommendations, including highlighting the shortage in human resources, material resources, financial resources, and the purchase of modern and developed marine vessels, with the need to direct researchers to focus on the variables of the current study (maritime safety, marine insurance, marine fleet management) due to their scarcity in the Arab countries that  Serving the maritime sector in its various fields, in addition to providing insurance coverage for Iraqi marine vessels to protect individuals and public property from marine accidents and hazards.
