The Department of Ecology, College of Science, University of Basra, discussed a master's thesis entitled "Qualitative Characteristics of Wastewater from Treatment Plants of Some Hospitals in Basrah".
The researcher's thesis, Ban Rifat Al-Singery, included a study of the properties of the water flowing from the sewage system in four locations, Samples were collected from direct sources of water coming out of hospitals before mixing with the public sewage water.
The thesis recommended the expansion of biochemical stages in treatment plants and the establishment of attached laboratories to conduct continuous monitoring of the quality of waste water after treatment.
