The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on dental management for patients with high blood pressure, given by Dr. Hana Khazal.
The lecture included the definition of the international classification of blood pressure disease in patients, the most important symptoms and signs, methods of diagnosis, types of drugs used in its treatment, how the dentist deals with such patients in clinics, choosing the types of anesthesia appropriate for the case, and organizing an action plan in a way that does not conflict with the drugs used for patients with pressure.
The lecture aims to educate the dentist on how to deal with emergency cases in order to avoid serious complications and to preserve the safety of patients.
