The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah obtained the approval of the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs to open postgraduate studies to present master degrees in oral microbiology for the next year.
The founder of postgraduate studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Sahib Atshan, expressed his satisfaction with the fulfillment of his mission and the fulfillment of the promises he sought for to open master studies in oral microbiology at the University of Basrah, which he considered a great achievement for the University of Basrah and the southern region, which represents a basic building block in motivating the rest of the college's branches to develop other studies to facilitate the desire of students to enroll in a postgraduate program in their governorate instead of going outside the governorate and bearing the inconvenience of travel and financial costs.
