The College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra holds a training course for educational counselors on (the role of the counselor and obstacles to application).
The College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra - Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, in cooperation with the Directorate of Education of Basra Governorate - Division of Educational Counseling, held a training course for educational counselors on (the role of the counselor and the obstacles to application), in the secondary hall of the gifted in Basra within the plan of the college and the department to train its outputs from the counselors educators in service.
The training course aimed to shed light on the obstacles to the counselor's work, and to propose solutions to facilitate his work within the school.
A group of professors in the department gave lectures, and they are (Professor Sana Abdel-Zahra Hameed), who gave a lecture entitled (Lateness, Escape, School Dropout between Administrative Penalties and Indicative Treatments), and (Professor Dr. Amal Abdel-Razzaq Naim) gave a lecture on (Development Counseling skills for educational counselors), then a lecture by (Professor Dr. Hana Sadiq Karim) on (school principals and faculty members on the one hand, and educational counselors on the other), with care in all of this to create a healthy work environment that allows the counselor to carry out his counseling tasks.
It is noteworthy that these joint courses are part of the college's annual plan to follow up on graduates, update their information, and ways to deal with the challenges they face after practicing work on the ground.
