Today, Tuesday, April 4, 2023, huge numbers of students from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Basra set out to visit the floating book fair carried by the (Logos Hope) ship.
Dr. Sondos Abdel-Wadoud, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, said that students' frequenting these exhibitions gives them the opportunity to view Arab and foreign books and resources.

The University of Basra had participations in holding cultural events and exhibitions of Arabic calligraphy. Musical groups from the College of Fine Arts played the melody of Iraqi and visual heritage songs on the ship's stage.
It is noteworthy that the ship Logos Hope has traveled to one hundred and fifty countries and carries nearly half a million books, and it is the largest floating library that enters Basra Governorate for the first time, and its crew is composed of seventy different nationalities.
