The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah held a workshop on the problems of statistical analysis.
The workshop aims to demonstrate the importance of statistics in supporting all sciences and disciplines, and to discuss a number of errors and common problems in the statistical analysis of master's and PhD theses and scientific research, as well as how to address them in order to prevent falling into them, which causes misleading results in the end.
The workshop recommended the necessity of relying in statistical analysis on those with specialization in statistics, as well as paying attention to learning the theoretical concepts of statistical methods and how to implement them using statistical programs.
