
The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, held a consultative session on the smart cities project, which was presented by the Economic Adviser to the International Federation of Universities, Mr. Samir Hikmat Al-Attiyah, and the Director of the Book House and the General Supervisor of the Arab Board for Training, Consulting and Human Development in Iraq, Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Basri, in the presence of the deans of the Colleges of Pharmacy, Arts and Administration and Economics.
The members of the session adopted the presentation of this project to the local government of Basra to move it into implementation for a better and more developed Basra.
An invitation was also extended to the President of the University of Basrah and the specialists by the DOgal Hayat Medical Hospitals Group and the First medicall group that manufactures and supplies medical equipment for hospitals, as well as visiting Medisam Medical saglik factories that manufactures the production equipment of medical gases and oxygen in Turkey.
In return, it was also agreed that the Turkish party would visit the private hospital at the University of Basrah for the purpose of reviewing its needs and providing free consulting services as a first stage.
