A delegation from the faculty at the University of Basrah visited the British University of Salford, headed by the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Abd Ali Jouda, and the Assistant Dean Administrative Affairs of the College of Engineering for, Dr. Musab Adel Ali, Dr. Alaa Falah Abdul Hassan and Dr. Imad Abdul Razzaq Jassim, and the delegation met the Head of the Department of Science and Engineering At the University of Salford, Dr. Omar Al-Ani.
The two sides discussed prospects for scientific cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting also included the preparation of a plan for coordination between the two universities for research cooperation between the teaching staff at both universities, the exchange of joint supervision of postgraduate students’ theses, the provision of facilities in these aspects, and also the search for the possibility of facilitating the granting of hosting invitations to students wishing to complete part of their scientific research and laboratory projects at the University of Salford.
