Under the auspices of Assistant Professor Dr. (Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab), Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, the Continuing Education Unit in the College of Nursing organized a scientific symposium entitled (Environmental Dimensions of Chronic Diseases), in which Professor Dr. The symposium was to introduce the effects of chronic diseases on health, how to prevent and treat them, and to conduct tests for diabetes and pressure levels among teachers and students. The symposium also dealt with environmental factors and the main objectives of environmental health and lead poisoning in children. The symposium aimed to study some solutions and proposals presented by the lecturers in the workshop and work on Familiarize the audience with these chronic diseases
