Since this night, the 5th of June, the volunteer research team began to work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of University of Basrah , on the production and preparation of VTMs for the Corona virus and the deliver it to the health directorates in the governorates of Iraq due to unavailability of VTMs in sufficient quantities to cope increment in the need for VTMs used in infection detection.The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah Hassan Shri said: We have started working on producing the VTMs from tonight. and planning to deliver500 VTMs, plus 1000 medical swabs for Basrah Health Department, 1500 VTMs with 3000 medical swabs for Dhi Qar Health Department and Al Muthanna Health Department
