The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a symposium on inflammation and suppuration of the knee joint.
The symposium included a lecture during which Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Ridha explained the largest types of arthritis, how to get inflammation and suppuration of the joint, symptoms and clinical signs of patients.
The symposium also dealt with taking laboratory and radiological tests for diagnosing types of arthritis.
The symposium also explained the most important conservative and pharmacological treatment methods to treat it as well as the most important surgical treatment methods for osteoarthritis.
Akbar stressed that there are different types of arthritis, pointing out that a doctor should be seem when there is pain in the joints, as not every pain in the joint is considered roughness, stressing that early intervention limits the exacerbation of the disease, as well as the importance of spreading health culture and urging people to undergo periodic examination to discover problems and solve them early.
