
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on modern methods of diagnosing parasites between an accomplished reality and an aspiration to be achieved.
The lecture aimed to introduce how parasites are diagnosed between hosts, diagnostic methods, how to isolate parasites and their types, isolate and record parasites recorded for the first time in Iraq and the world, as well as the use of molecular methods in classifying parasites and intensive attempts to open the genetic map of some parasites.
The lecture by Dr. Suzan Abdel-Jabbar Abdel-Aziz included two topics, the first is simple laboratory diagnostic methods and modern diagnostic methods, and the second is the latest recent studies after the isolation and diagnosis of parasites, and from which animals parasites are isolated and who is responsible for genetic conflicts between isolated strains of one species.
