
A group of students of the Basic Sciences Branch in the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra carried out a voluntary campaign to decorate the building of the Basic Sciences Branch at the Bab Al-Zubair site with artificial trees.
Dr. Ali Taha Yassin, Head of the Basic Sciences Branch, stated that the decoration included the medical chemistry laboratory, the physiology laboratory, the medical physics laboratory, the computer laboratory, and the general tissue laboratory with artificial trees, pointing to its cultural and psychological impact on the students and increasing the aesthetics of the building.
On the other hand, he noted the interest of the Deanship of the College in the building after the expansion that took place in the College of Dentistry and the transfer of students of the first and second stages to the Bab Al-Zubair site, where the building was rehabilitated and furnished, and the laboratories were equipped with modern laboratory tools and equipment, a hall for seminars and meetings, a computer laboratory, a chapel for students, and the provision of lockers to store laboratory tools that in their possession.
