The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah organized its third integrated international scientific conference on (economic and urban projects in Basra throughout history).
The international scientific conference aims to promote the societal culture in general, and the academic culture in particular of the cultural heritage in the field of urban projects, as well as directing to benefit from previous experiences that dealt with the problems facing the advancement of the urban reality, as long as the problems are often repeated.
The conference included several topics, including the civilized role of the city of Basra throughout the ages, the pioneering role of the Basra community in peaceful coexistence, and the economic importance of the city of Basra.
