The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on health education for ovarian cyst syndrome, and the workshop included a lecture during which Dr. Sondos Baqer Dawood showed how to educate women on this subject, how to diagnose its symptoms, and what are the appropriate treatments for it. As well as the importance of periodic review of the doctor and taking the advice of doctors to follow the correct instructions and stay away from the wrong societal beliefs.
The workshop also touched on how to diagnose ovarian cyst syndrome, which is done by two signs, including a clinical or laboratory sign of an increase in the male hormone, and the appearance of an ovarian cyst image with an ultrasound device.
