Under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majed Asghar Muhammad al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, the Continuing Education Unit in our college organized a workshop on health education for ovarian cyst syndrome, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Sondos Baqir Daoud, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Lecturer Dr. Sawsan Abdul Razzaq, member of the faculty, lectured At the college, the workshop dealt with the importance of the subject and how to educate women about what is a vital topic and spread among women of average age, how to diagnose symptoms and what are the appropriate treatments for them, and the importance of periodic review of the doctor and taking the advice of doctors to follow the correct instructions and stay away from the wrong societal beliefs. The workshop also touched on how Diagnosis of ovarian cyst syndrome, which is done by two signs, including a clinical or laboratory sign of an increase in the male hormone, and the appearance of an ovarian cyst image with an ultrasound device. The workshop aims to discuss the causes of ovarian cyst, its results, clinical signs and methods of treatment, including a modern treatment for the syndrome.
