This study aims to estimate the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines among recipients.
Where the objective of the current study was achieved by following two groups of vaccinated individuals as a study group and non-vaccinated as a control group and collecting the incidence of side events among the participants who received 1 and 2 doses of vaccine. And recording any side effects or reactions they experienced.
And whoever showed symptoms of infection with the virus from the two study groups, a sample is taken from him to confirm or deny the infection using the polymerase chain reaction technique in real time. The research also included measuring the levels of antibodies resulting from individuals who received one or two doses of the two vaccines in the studied group and measuring coefficients blood in the studied and control groups.
The study recommended that more research is needed to clarify the relationship between levels of white blood cells and lymphocytes and severity of infection, design a systematic study of the clinical symptoms of COVID-19, study the chemical composition and characterization of the coronavirus, and a next-generation sequencing study to identify more effective vaccines.
Studying the effect of the vaccine on the immune system. It also recommended expanding the in vivo experiment to include a larger group to give a better statistical view. And seek more research to find a more advanced formula to support the life span of the vaccine.
