The College of Dentistry University of Basrah organized a lecture on international standards for dental materials and evaluating their safety and effectiveness, delivered by Dr. Rafid Mustafa Badr.
The lecture dealt with a historical overview of the importance of standards In the manufacture of dental materials, the reasons for their use In the manufacture of dental materials, their classification, and the most important institutions responsible for issuing these standards.
The lecture aims to formulate standards or specifications for dental materials and to certify products that enable the dentist to understand the behavior of these materials and how to use them to the best possible way.
