Basra University is the first university in Iraq to apply the electronic payment system inside the University and for all transactions, starting from ١ / ٦ / ٢٠٢٣, where all students and associates will be equipped with prepaid cards and all transactions will be done electronically in implementation of the Prime Minister's directive on e-governance
