
Board's research at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, discussed the factors affecting contraceptive use among women of childbearing age in Basra.
The research, presented by student Sarah Muhannad Fouad, aims to identify the factors affecting the choice and use of contraceptive methods and to examine the patterns and determinants of contraceptive use among women.
The research concluded that the factors that affect the use of contraceptive methods are the woman's age, the educational level of both the woman and her husband, the number of pregnancies, the number of children, the desire to have more children, and the woman's source of information.
