The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a training course in Landscape.
Dr. Wajiha Musa Issa, Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Abdul-Hussein, and the teacher Enasriyad Majeed, lectured in the course.
Dr. Wajeha and the teacher, Enas, discussed the importance of gardens, their history, and some plants used in gardens and their coordination. Dr. Zain Al-Abidin dealt with biophilic design and its positive effects on the members of society, such as visual nourishment and environmental, health, social and cultural treatments.
The training course recommended that efforts should be made with the relevant departments to take care of gardens and parks in the city of Basra and work to improve the level of performance in those green projects.
