The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized its third campaign of field practices to detect and investigate endemic diseases in the governorate.
This practice aims to serve the community through early detection of diseases, especially those common to humans and animals, to eliminate them.
The practice included a visit by the research teams in the college to the villages of Beit Wafi and Al-Ma’mal in the Qurna district, where some samples of endemic diseases and hemorrhagic fever were collected, and free treatments and veterinary guidance were provided.
It is worth mentioning that research teams were formed from the teaching staff in the branch of internal and preventive medicine to train students of the fifth stage during this practice on how to deal with endemic diseases within the clinical and veterinary application lesson.
