An instructor at the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Khaleda Salem Al-Naim, co-authored a book entitled "Health and Diseases of Freshwater Fishes" issued by the College of Veterinary Medicine - Al-Qasim Al-Khadhra University with each of. Muhannad Abbas Al-Jubouri and Prof. Dr. Sadiq Mahdi Al Haider.
This book is the first of its kind to be used as a methodological guide for students of colleges of veterinary medicine.
The book contains 206 pages and 12 chapters covering topics related to fish mortality in farms, the aquatic environment and its relationship to fish diseases, immunity and immune stimulation, health management and follow-up of farmed fish, viral, bacterial, fungal and parasitic diseases, non-communicable diseases, drugs and chemicals used in aquacultural life breeding.
