Master Thesis / PhD thesis at Basraha University to be discussed (Prospective study on thyroid carcinoma in comparison to thyroid disorder in Basrah Patients( A thesis / Ph. D thesis at the faculty of Science at the University of Basraha, and showed the researcher's thesis (Ali Reda Hussein). The thesis aims to explore the association between Body Mass index (BMI) and thyroid cancer incidence and to investigate the effects of some metabolic parameters, insulin hormone, glucose, Homa-IR, Quicki vitamin D, leptin and ghrelin hormones, and C-reactive protein. Furthermore, this study clarifies the expression of IL-4 in thyroid cancer serum and tissues. and concluded and recommended Use of serum levels IL-4 as a diagnostic indicator to identify patients with active disease who deserve closer medical attention and use of serum insulin resistance profile as a risk factor and indicator for thyroid cancer disease.
