The Clinical Laboratory Sciences Branch at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion on the similarities and differences between the incretin-like hormones.
The panel discussion, which was moderated by the teacher, Safa Kifah Qasim, included a statement of the most important types of drugs whose action is similar to the action of the hormone incretin, which is naturally secreted within the body, and its effect on the treatment of diabetes and obesity, and the extent of similarities and differences between the drugs in terms of effectiveness, effect, side effects, dosage and use.
