College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra visits the Children's Specialist Hospital for Cancer Diseases
Within the series of visits with educational objectives as a stage of the implementation of the strategic plan, and after multiple visits, and under the title and slogan
(Encouraging the community to play a positive role towards humanitarian and voluntary work to serve the community)
The College of Education for Human Sciences - Department of Geography organized an educational and cultural visit for the students of the Department of Geography to the Children's Specialist Hospital in Basra, with the participation of a group of teachers, and under the supervision of Dr. Iman Karim Abbas, Dr. Ibtisam Katea Khaji and Dr. Alaa Shaker Omran, on Wednesday 10/5/2023
The visit aimed to provide support to this important segment, whose numbers are increasing due to the scourge of wars and environmental pollution, in order to provide moral support to children and their families, and to plant a smile on the faces of the injured children, asking the Lord for their speedy recovery.
The visit included getting to know the children and distributing gifts, games and financial aid to them. The participants in the visit emphasized the repetition of such visits in order to make the children happy and develop the spirit of cooperation and solidarity among the members of the community.
