The Faculty of Education for Human Sciences, University of Basra / English Language Department organized its third integrated international scientific conference on (The power of words in linguistics and literature)

The conference included several axes, the first axis talked about linguistics, while the second axis dealt with the axis of teaching methods, the third axis dealt with literary studies, and the fourth axis talked about teaching English as a foreign language, while the fifth axis dealt with literary criticism, the sixth axis talked about the future of teaching English as a foreign language, while the seventh and last axis dealt with

The conference came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which were: helping students benefit from the experience of their teachers. Enhancing intellectual competition. Opening new areas of work within the specialization of our department.
