The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah organized its fourth integrated international scientific conference on social reform in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
The conference aimed to monitor contemporary human problems within the family and society and to clarify the role of the Qur’an and Sunnah in diagnosing and treating them.
The conference included several topics on the family and the problems of tribal and clan norms that affect society and seeking effective solutions to them. It also cast light on the educational, moral and economic axis.
The conference came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is activating the role of educational institutions, as reform stems from reforming these institutions and activating them in society.
