The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, met with the committees specialized in deleting and destroying materials in all university formations, in the presence of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs and a number of department directors.
The President of the University of Basrah confirmed that the deletion does not mean the destruction of all materials, but rather it is possible to seek the help of specialized technical committees to examine them and indicate their suitability for work or not.
Taking into account the application of the instructions of the Committee for Deleting and Destroying Materials.
Shaheen added that we can benefit from the recycling of materials by transferring valid spare parts to other idle devices for re-operation. It is also possible to work with the transfer system by sending old paper materials to the paper mill. Metal materials can be transferred to the iron and steel factory. The used batteries can be sent to the battery factory in Babylon, according to applicable controls.
