The thesis of the researcher, Shaima Zughair Faleh, included a study of the therapeutic and preventive effect of medical ozone on experimental animals after induction of diabetes by using alloxan, an evaluation of the synergy between medical ozone and insulin, and the possibility of using medical ozone as a complement to the treatment of diabetes during the experiment. Some blood, hormonal and biochemical variables were studied, and the histopathology pancreatic and ovarian histology and fertility test were studied.
The thesis concluded that medical ozone has some preventive and curative effects, especially when given in joint doses with insulin, and also has a major role in reducing the complications of diabetes.
